about ccwh
We help women historians thrive through events, resources, and community.
Meredith College is pleased to announce Snapshot 20/20, a symposium to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment. We will kick off the event with a keynote address on April 2, 2020 and offer concurrent panels and a range of activities with our community partners through April 5, 2020.
Snapshot 20/20 will foster international and interdisciplinary scholarship and conversations focused on the social, economic, and political status of women and girls from 1920 to 2020.

Scholars and students are invited to submit papers and projects on a wide range of topics including global women’s rights and status, gender identification, issues of citizenship and activism, social welfare policy, and democracy more broadly.
