This award was co-sponsored with the Journal of Women’s History from 2001 – 2014. The prize was awarded to a high school student for the best project that focused on the contribution, accomplishments, experiences, and perspectives of women in U.S. history. Winners of the Women’s History special prize were featured in The Journal of Women’s History.
