about ccwh
We help women historians thrive through events, resources, and community.
While the Museum is temporarily closed to help contain the spread of COVID-19, we invite you to join us for live, interactive Virtual Presentations exploring New York and American history! Our docents and curators will introduce you to remarkable figures from the past, from Clara Driscoll, designer of Tiffany Studios’ most remarkable lamps, to Mathew Brady, whose Greenwich Village photography studio helped propel Lincoln to the White House. An Internet connection is all you need to discover the Museum’s treasures!
Join one of our scheduled 60-minute presentations hosted on Zoom, an easy-to-use video conferencing platform that requires no special login or membership. Sign up on your own or invite a friend! New dates will be added throughout the summer.
Looking for a new way to connect with your online class, colleagues, or book club? Select any topic below and reserve a program exclusively for your group, which each participant will log into individually. On Zoom, you’ll be able to interact in real time. Contact us at group.tours@nyhistory.org or (212) 873-3400, ext. 352 for additional information, pricing, and to reserve your Virtual Presentation today!
