The History Department at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the American Civil War.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability·to teach an upper level course in US military history that they will offer every fall and spring semester as well as the first half of the American History survey and upper level and graduate courses in the American Civil War. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to an ongoing research agenda. Ph.D. must be completed within one year of initial appointment.
