Requirements
Georgetown University invites applications for the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies program at the rank of tenured Full Professor or advanced Associate Professor to begin August 2020. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Program of Women’s and Gender Studies and another department in the Georgetown College.
Primary Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses, advising students, coordination of programming and curriculum, program assessment, and shaping the future development of the program.
Georgetown College currently offers both a major and minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. In conjunction with the Walsh School of Foreign Service, the program also offers a minor/SFS certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies.
The successful candidate will join a thriving/rapidly growing department in a top-25 university located in the heart of Washington, DC.
