Missouri State University is seeking to hire a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the History of the Ancient Near East and/or Mediterranean World excluding Rome. Candidates without their Ph.D. must complete it within one year of their initial appointment.
Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to teach upper-division courses broadly in their specialty including Greece, the Near East and/or Egypt. A successful candidate will also be asked to teach the first part of the department’s World History survey course.
Submit a cover letter, academic vita, graduate transcript and a syllabus for an upper level course and a survey in World History to 1600. Letters of recommendation will also be required and collected through the website.

Priority will be given to applications submitted by October 14.
